About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Aviation Ground Support Specialist to manage and oversee ground operations remotely. This crucial role ensures the efficient and safe turnaround of aircraft at various airports, coordinating with ground crews, airline representatives, and airport authorities. You will leverage technology to monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices from a remote location. This position offers the flexibility of working from anywhere, combined with the challenge of contributing to the seamless operation of a significant aviation network, focusing on optimizing turnaround times and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor aircraft ground handling operations, including baggage handling, fueling, and aircraft marshaling, via real-time systems.

• Coordinate with on-site ground crews and supervisors to ensure efficient and timely aircraft turnaround.

• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues that may arise during ground operations, providing remote guidance and solutions.

• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, operational procedures, and airline-specific requirements.

• Analyze ground operations data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including airline operations centers, airport management, and external service providers, in a remote capacity.

Requirements

• Previous experience in aviation ground operations, airport management, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of aircraft turnaround processes, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.

• Proficiency in using airport operations software and communication tools for remote management.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage teams effectively, even without direct physical oversight.
