About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking aviation consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced Remote Aviation Compliance Specialist to reinforce their regulatory affairs team. This position is ideal for a diligent and knowledgeable professional who can manage and ensure adherence to complex aviation regulations from a home-based setting. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, assessing their impact on clients' operations, and developing strategies for compliance. Your insights will be critical in guiding clients through the ever-evolving regulatory landscape of the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze aviation regulations (national and international) for potential impact on client operations.
• Conduct compliance audits and gap analyses for aviation organizations.
• Develop and implement compliance programs and procedures tailored to client needs.
• Prepare and submit regulatory documentation and reports to aviation authorities.
• Advise clients on best practices for regulatory adherence and safety management.
• Stay current with changes in aviation legislation, policies, and standards.
• Assist clients in preparing for regulatory inspections and audits.
• Manage the interpretation and application of specific aviation regulations relevant to different sectors (e.g., airlines, MROs, airports).
• Contribute to the development of training materials on aviation compliance topics.
• Maintain organized records of all compliance activities and client interactions.

Requirements

• A degree in Aviation Law, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation compliance, regulatory affairs, or safety management.
• In-depth knowledge of national (e.g., SACAA) and international aviation regulations (ICAO, EASA, FAA).
• Proven ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory text.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance issues clearly.
• Experience with audit processes and compliance program development.
• Proficiency in using standard office software and regulatory databases.
• Must have a dedicated home office environment with reliable high-speed internet.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
