About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and diligent Remote Aviation Safety Specialist to enhance their safety management systems. This fully remote role focuses on developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure the highest levels of compliance and risk mitigation across the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing safety data, conducting audits, developing training materials, and fostering a strong safety culture, all within a remote setting. The ideal candidate has a robust background in aviation safety, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive safety initiatives effectively from a distance. This is a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and safety of all aviation operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement aviation safety policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
• Analyze safety data, incident reports, and audit findings to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Conduct remote safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees across various departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety management or regulatory compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, SA CAA).
• Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage safety programs and drive change remotely.
