About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Remote Aviation Regulatory Affairs Specialist to ensure compliance with all applicable aviation laws and regulations across diverse jurisdictions. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, interpreting their impact on operations, and developing strategies to maintain compliance. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a global team of aviation professionals. You will play a vital role in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of the aviation industry, contributing to the safe and legal operation of aircraft, from your home office near Benoni .

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in aviation regulations globally.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure ongoing compliance with national and international aviation laws.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for regulatory approvals, certifications, and licensing.
  • Liaise with aviation authorities and regulatory bodies on behalf of the company.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements and potential impacts on business operations.
  • Conduct regulatory impact assessments for new projects, aircraft, and operational changes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation safety standards and airworthiness directives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience (5+ years) in aviation regulatory affairs or compliance.
  • In-depth understanding of international aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, SACAA).
  • Proven ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory documents.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing and submitting regulatory documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
