About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and efficient Remote Aviation Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of aircraft parts, materials, and equipment globally. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely availability of necessary components for maintenance, repair, and operational needs, thereby minimizing aircraft downtime. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory, liaising with suppliers and maintenance teams, and ensuring compliance with all transportation and aviation regulations. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while playing a key role in the smooth operation of aviation logistics from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipment of aircraft parts, materials, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to various maintenance bases and operational sites.
• Manage and track inventory levels, forecasting demand for critical components to prevent shortages.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth transit and clearance of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistical transactions, including shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, import/export laws, and hazardous material shipping requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance planning, procurement, and operations teams to align logistics activities with operational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or inventory control, preferably in the aviation or aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics principles, inventory management techniques, and international shipping procedures.
• Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and inventory management tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
