About the Role

You will develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to security incidents, all while working from a remote location. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and policies tailored for the aviation sector.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses of aircraft systems, IT infrastructure, and operational technology (OT).
• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and cyber threats, responding effectively to incidents and mitigating damage.
• Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
• Ensure compliance with aviation cybersecurity regulations and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, CMMC, specific aviation standards).
• Provide cybersecurity awareness training and guidance to personnel across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a specialization in industrial control systems (ICS) or aviation cybersecurity.
• Proven expertise in risk assessment, vulnerability management, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, cryptography, and security frameworks.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, GSEC, CISM) are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
