Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and deploy robust software applications for aviation-specific platforms, utilizing languages like C++, Python, or Java.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, domain experts, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and architectural designs.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for complex aviation challenges, such as flight path optimization, real-time data processing, and simulation modeling.
• Implement and maintain software systems, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues in development and production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in software development, with a significant portion focused on aviation-related software .
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, Java, or Ada.
• Experience with real-time systems, embedded software, or simulation technologies.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards and development lifecycles (e.g., DO-178C).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills, and the capacity for independent work in a remote setting.
