Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test robust and reliable software for avionics systems, including flight controls, navigation, and communication.
• Develop software in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems, adhering to strict coding standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Work closely with systems engineers and hardware developers to define software requirements and architecture.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support system-level testing.
• Develop and maintain software documentation, including design specifications and test procedures.
• Ensure software compliance with aviation safety standards such as DO-178C.
• Engage actively in code reviews and peer programming to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with a significant focus on embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming languages is essential.
• Experience developing software for real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with avionics systems and aviation standards (e.g., ARINC protocols, DO-178C).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to thrive in a remote team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) is a plus.
