Remote Aviation Project Manager

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to manage complex aviation initiatives from anywhere. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to aircraft development, system implementation, or operational improvements, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of aviation projects, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Coordinate and lead project teams comprised of engineers, technicians, and other specialists, fostering effective collaboration in a virtual environment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as needed.
• Communicate project status, progress, and key issues to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant aviation regulations and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management , with a significant portion within the aviation industry .
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively in a fully remote capacity .
