About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned and highly organized Remote Aviation Project Manager to lead critical projects from inception to completion. This is a fully remote position, empowering you to work from any location while driving key initiatives within the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, coupled with a deep understanding of aviation operations, technology, or manufacturing. You will be responsible for defining project scope, managing timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring successful delivery of project objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of aviation-related projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders across different locations.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Track project progress, prepare regular status reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
• Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication and action item tracking.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, even in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion dedicated to the aviation industry.
• Proven experience successfully managing complex projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in a remote work environment.
