About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activities and potential threats.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security incidents, including identifying root causes and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices relevant to the aviation sector.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on aviation IT systems and networks.
• Respond to security breaches and manage incident response activities in a timely and effective manner.
• Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, particularly those impacting aviation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat analysis and incident response.
• Proven experience with SIEM tools , intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS), and endpoint security solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, cryptography, and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with aviation-specific IT systems and security concerns is a plus.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+) are highly desirable.
