Tasks:
• Provide human factors engineering expertise and support to the design and development of Starlab human system interfaces.
• Analyze, assess, and make recommendations regarding Starlab human system design and development in the following fields: habitability functions, inner architecture, crew interfaces, natural and induced environments, etc.
• Perform tailoring and tracking of Human Systems Integration Requirements.
• Analyze flight dynamics (aerodynamic propulsion performance, loads, weight) for converging on vehicle performance.
• Manage interactions with other engineering and non-engineering configuration disciplines.
• Identify optimized solutions for the vehicle in configuration development through multidisciplinary trade-off studies and assess the impacts of design studies.
Your profile:
• A degree in aerospace, electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science (or equivalent).
• Basic knowledge of computer-aided design.
• Experience in the field of spacecraft operations/engineering.
• Ability to learn fast, work pro-actively, and be comfortable working in full autonomy with attention to detail.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
